HOW DOES THIS WORK DEVELOP?

AI tools can help explore visual directions and different possibilities for a scene. I treat those outputs as part of a design process: reviewing composition, important details and the relationship with the intended message. We define whether the goal is concept research or a visual prepared for publishing.

01

Define the visual need

We discuss the message, atmosphere, style and intended use before generating imagery. References and real source material clarify which details should stay accurate and which can be explored. This creates a more focused visual brief.

02

Explore several directions

I develop alternatives in scene, lighting and composition, then evaluate the useful directions. AI output is a starting point for this exploration. The selected direction is considered alongside the brand, the content and the publishing format.

  2. 02Reference
  3. 03Generate / select
  4. 04Refinement

From the first brief to the final delivery, every step follows the same visual direction.

03

Keep important details consistent

Products, packaging, logos and environments may need faithful representation. Generated images can alter details, so supplied real material is reviewed separately. We choose the method according to what needs to remain accurate in the final visual.

04

Develop the selected image

For publishing work, the chosen output is reviewed and refined within the overall composition. Text, logo placement, framing and agreed edits are handled as design decisions. Research visuals and final publishing files have separate delivery expectations.

Deliverables

Deliverables and file requirements are agreed individually for each brief.

  • Concept and atmosphere explorations
  • Scene and composition alternatives
  • Visual direction studies for a brief
  • AI-assisted environments or supporting imagery within scope
  • Refinement of the selected visual direction
  • Agreed compositions incorporating copy and brand elements
  • Publishing files in the selected dimensions and formats

Working process

  1. 01

    Clarify the purpose

We define the visual goal, references, real source material and whether the output is for research or publishing.

  2. 02

    Explore directions

I develop atmosphere, scene and composition alternatives for review.

  3. 03

    Refine the chosen direction

I review important details and develop the selected output within the design composition.

  4. 04

    Prepare the agreed files

I check the final framing and relevant product details, then deliver the selected formats.

LET’S DEFINE THE NEED

For our first conversation

A few sentences in response to these questions are a useful starting point for understanding your needs and defining the scope.

  1. Is the image for visual research or direct publishing?
  2. Which product, packaging or environment details must remain accurate?
  3. Are usable source photographs and references available?
  4. What atmosphere, style and intended use are expected?

Frequently asked questions

Can AI completely replace a product photograph?

When accurate product representation is essential, real photography or appropriate source material matters. Generated images can change details. We may preserve the actual product and explore its setting, depending on the brief.

Can the scope cover only concepts and moodboards?

Yes. We can plan visual directions, scenes and atmosphere studies as a separate research delivery. Publishing-ready design is scoped separately.

Is the generated output delivered directly?

The brief defines the delivery. Publishing visuals are reviewed and refined, with copy, logos and relevant product details considered during the design stage.
